It is so lovely to meet you here and thank you for joining me.

My name is Jo and I'm a bestselling author, award winning tiny film maker, speaker, podcaster and freelance creative.
I share the joy of ageing well, adventure and solo travel, courage and fresh starts as we get older and making a difference in the world.
​

Creative: I work with clients to create engaging, authentic + successful campaigns to share their brand stories, including Inghams Walking, Lovat Parks, Staysure Travel Insurance, 2 Minute Foundation and Macs Adventure.

Speaker: I'm a popular speaker online and in person at adventure, boatlife and wellbeing festivals, the Royal Geographic Society, beautiful bookshops, women's health and business groups.
​
Filmmaker: my short award winning iPhone films Found at Sea and Finding Joy share the health + happiness the outdoors can bring in midlife.

Giving Back: I paddleboarded 162 miles coast to coast for 2MinuteBeachClean + The Wave Project, rowed a million metres + marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support and climbed Everest in a Month in my backyard for the Skipton Foodbank.
​
I am an ambassador for Seaful Charity and Patron of The National Women's Register. I write a quarterly column for SUP Mag UK called Paddleboarding for Good.
​
My message: I believe we're not too old and it's never too late to have an adventure, create a fresh start and make a difference. Let's enjoy the journey together!
